Family Photography

Family portraits at Traditions tend to be more relaxed and casual, rather than straight and formal. We encourage comfortable clothing that your family feels confident wearing. Try to wear similar colors to give a unified look. For example, blue and khaki, white and jean. By no means does this mean that you all have to wear identical clothing - we even discourage this. Mom can wear a white shirt and black skirt, dad can wear a black shirt and khakis, kids can wear khaki overalls with black shirts, or even a khaki jumper. There is no limitation to your options. The only advice we give is to wear similar colors and to stay away from loud patterns. This really makes the portrait look finished and planned. When the family is all wearing different colors, the viewer doesn't know where to put his or her attention.
